    Little Caesar’s Pizza:  Thank you to everyone for supporting the senior class with their Little Caesars Pizza sales.  The pizzas will arrive at 10:00 AM TODAY.  Thanks again for making the fundraiser a success!


    PRE-SCHOOL SCREENING:  Will be held on Wednesday at the Richey Elementary from 2:00-3:30 PM for ages 0 through 5 years of age.  Children entering kindergarten next fall will also be included in this screening and are encouraged to attend.

    KISS THE PIG – New Date & Time:  The Sophomores are wrapping up their Kiss The Pig fundraiser. There is still time to vote at the school or the hardware store. We will have the “Kiss the Pig” assembly at 2:30 PM on Thursday in the HS gym.. It is a tight race!  As of now the order is from first to last:   Jon Barnhart, Joe Day Rider, Kyle Senner, Cesar Mireles, Lindsay Tennant


    K-6 Families:  Come celebrate your students' Third Quarter accomplishments with us in the high school gym at 2:45 PM on Thursday.  Hope to see you all there!


    FIRST DAY OF PRACTICES:  For grades 5-6 track will be on Thursday.

    If you are planning on participating in either of these sports, you will need to have a completed MHSA physical form in the office before you practice.

    MONTHLY NEWSLETTER:   The newsletter will be available on our school web site (richey.k12.mt.us), and through email as well.  Hard copies will be available at the school, Stockman Bank, Big Sky Hardware, Senior Citizens Center and the Public Library. 


    HOST FAMILY:  Learn about another culture in-depth when you host a student from Japan this summer. Delegates are here to experience what it is like to live with a “typical” American family. Families should have a youth at home who is within 2-3 years of the person they host and the same gender. 


    OPEN HEAD COOK POSITION:   Richey Public Schools is accepting applications for the following position – Head Cook.  Employment would begin August 2019.


    Plans and directs the preparation and serving of all food in the cafeteria.

    Responsible for securing food, supplies, and revenues.

    Supervises and participates in the preparation and service of food.

    Supervises kitchen personnel in the safe and proper use of kitchen equipment.

    Trains new kitchen helpers.

    Ensures that all equipment in the cafeteria area is in safe, working condition and notifies the custodian and/or principal when repairs are needed.

    Assists in planning work schedules of kitchen helpers.

    Responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and cafeteria.

    Oversees and participates in the cleaning of the kitchen and related areas.

    Responsible for receipt of food shipments to the school.

    Only minimum duties are listed.  Other functions may be required as given or assigned by administration and/or trustees.

                Salary is DOE plus benefits that include health insurance, vacation and sick leave, retirement, and life insurance. Open until filled.
