Please send the following supplies with your child to preschool (and please label everything - backpack, every crayon, every pencil, folder, etc.):

Backpack (large enough to hold a regular sized folder)

See-through box for crayons labeled with child's name. The hinged kind works well.

Box of 24 Crayola crayons (regular sized, not jumbo)

3-4 Pencils (regular sized #2 pencils work best)

Folder (the plastic kind hold up the best)

8 Elmer's purple disappearing, regular sized glue sticks; not jumbo sized

4 large boxes snack crackers (some favorites are Goldfish crackers, Original Cheez-its, Teddy Grahams, Scooby Snacks and Chicken in a Biscuit)

Change of clothes in labeled gallon ziploc bag to have on hand in case of accidents (pants, shirt, underwear, socks)

No need to send scissors or paint shirts.  These items are provided.

No need to buy separate PE shoes; preschoolers don't have recess in the gym.  However, when your child wears snow boots to school, please send shoes for them to wear in the classroom.

Winter Gear:  Heavy winter coat, waterproof snow pants, winter hat that covers ears, waterproof mittens and water proof snow boots.  After observing what works best over several years, these items really are important for each child to have when it's cold out.  Unless air temperature or wind chill are below zero or if it is snowing or raining, the kids will be outside during recess each morning.

Please label your child's winter gear - we get the same brands, sizes and colors of snowpants sometimes.  It helps to keep the kids' belongings organized.
